How cool would it be to have an art studio in a remodeled grain elevator? That’s what happens here. I was inspired by this grand old building in Bozeman, Montana, to paint this canvas as part of a series.

I created the thick texture using a palette knife and molding paste, then painted the piece with professional-quality Golden acrylics. I continued the scene over the edges of the gallery-wrapped, acid-free canvas so there's no need to frame it.
