I hand shaped this custom made Delta River necklace from 16-gauge sterling silver. It is based on a design that I was originally commissioned to do for Delta Magazine. I hand-hammered the angles of the piece to enhance the reflected light on the silver. The black leather cord is about 17 inches long--slightly longer than choker length. It closes with a hook and eye sterling silver clasp that I glued and clamped to the cord. The piece will be gift-wrapped in a pin-striped black box with a note attached about the Delta River design.
